If you don’t travel often, or maybe you travel too much out of necessity, it’s important now and then to treat yourself to the very best you can afford, to disconnect from the cares of life and reconnect with your family, with nature, your wild side, yourself.
Our travel focus today is Nashville Tennessee, the songwriting capital of the world! There is so much to see and do in Music City.
Check out this comprehensive travel guide, to lead you to the best experience possible featuring an inside peek into some of Nashville’s finest hotels, along with their amenities and proximity to exciting activities, sights, and restaurants.
I’ve got my eye on these really cute boots from Macy's!
The guide also touches on achieving that sizzling western look re-popularized by the hit TV series, “Nashville” with Connie Brittan, and more recently by Kelly Reilly's smoldering ensembles, and Kevin Costner’s elegant cattle rancher apparel in “Yellowstone”. Not to diminish the fashion impact of the spin-off “1883” prequel series with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Sam Elliot and Isabelle May, those old west style jackets and vests are being lassoed off the shelves at Jackets Junction by fashion-savy rustlers.
There is great diversity in the city of Nashville. You can see it in the people and the fashion, taste it in the food, hear it in the music. And yes, many locals in this city do wear their jeans with cowboy boots with a great-looking shirt as standard fare and consider these clothing accessories every bit as versatile and indispensable as that little black dress. It’s practical and comfortable and you just feel good wearing it.
Lower Broadway has some fine Western wear selections. Notably, the Nashville Boot Company at 603 8th Avenue South, and Tecova Boots at 501 Commerce Street. The Lucchese Bootmaker at 503 12th Avenue South also has a great selection of distinctive handbags and tote bags.
Venture on over to Abbot Martin Road for a look at what makes Freebird’s customers so loyal. You can get high quality there for a song.
If you’re staying at or near Opryland Resort and Convention Center, which is conveniently near not only the Grand Ole Opry but Opry Mills shopping complex, there are more Western fashion options there. From the Boot Factory, and Boot Barn to Gucci. Beyonce’ got her famous over-the-knee Gucci boots for $1,790. And yes, Gucci makes cowboy hats.
And then there’s Macy’s of course - in Green Hills. At Macy’s you can find western boots, fashion boots, or a nice blend of the two - country glam? Even Lada Gaga donned a pink cowboy hat for her country release and Dive Bar tour.
If you don’t have a chance to get to Macy's in Green Hills, there is always online shopping with free shipping and free returns on all orders. They have a really cute pair of boots I’ve got my eye on, by the way! Link to them above.
